About the Ultimate Man Show



The Ultimate Man Show (UMS) is the first, and only, event in the Ottawa Region that brings all things masculine all under one roof.

Other events that target the male population typically do so by concentrating on a single aspect of a men’s interest, these include expositions such as the International Auto Show, RV/Camping Show and the Hunting/Fishing Show etc. The Ultimate Man Show provides that “one stop” source for the interest and needs of all man.

There will be an extensive number of interactive programming curated within the show that will appeal to men of every stripe.

Audience and Demographics


The Ultimate Man Show has an audience expectation of 5,000 individuals, this put the total cost per “touch” at under $0.30! This really makes the Ultimate Man Show a marketing “must have” for any business targeting the male population of greater Ottawa.

This target audience typically features elevated categories with an established career and income rating. Further, this age bracket typically features elevated disposable income; making them perfect potential customers for our exhibitors.

Marketing Campaign






To ensure maximum attendance, an aggressive advertising and promotional campaign has been initiated. The Ultimate Man Show has teamed up with various media companies to provide an extensive advertising campaign targeting the entire metropolitan Ottawa region. Starting almost a full 4 weeks before the event, this campaign will run across multiple radio stations (with differing demographics) to ensure maximum exposure and penetration.

A number of Rogers stations will be promoting this event; including, Chez 106.1, New Country 94 and TSN1200. This campaign will feature a total of 100 30-second ads (50 on each station), which will run over a period of 10 days leading up to the show.

An in-studio segment on CTV Morning Live will highlight and anchor this campaign.

To further stimulate local and neighborhood attraction, UMS will provide posters to all exhibitors and encourage them to display them prominently. Posters will also be posted on shelter stations throughout the downtown core. Electronic versions of these posters will also be made available for display on your web site as well as those of our sponsors. In addition, the UMS will have a significant social media presence; including Website, Facebook, Instagram as well as Twitter postings.

Valuable prizes will be available for attendees and will be prominently featured on all our social media endeavours.

On Chez 106 (Rogers), we will be partnering with Stereo Plus & Design to present the Ultimate Man Cave contest (valued at over $5,000). This contest will be extensively promoted by Chez 106; both on-air and on their web site. Other prizes (including Senators, RedBlacks and Fury game tickets) will also be included in this contest.

Capital Waterfowling



Capital Waterfowling is a local company dedicated to producing products for the avid hunter and outdoorman. They also have another local connection in that co-founder Eric Gryba was also a popular defenseman for the Ottawa Senators (Now playing for the Oilers). Steph the Grilling Gourmet


Steph Legari is a well known, Ottawa-based,  BBQ guru. He is the star of the TV show “Grill this,Smoke that” and ha made numerous appearance on other television sows including CTV’s Canada AM. At the show, Steph will be giving live “how-to” demonstrations on superior barbecuing tips and techniques.


“Bring Your Own Celebrity”. If you have a celebrity personality that you have access to, you can use that Ultimate Man Show to further promote your association with that person (subject to approval by show management).
